Frontier Symposium of Forensic Sciences, 2016, which will be held between October 30-31st, 2016 in Xi'an, China. The event is under the Silk Road Forensic Consortium (SRFC). We encourage paper writers, panel presenters, book authors, and PhD students researching Forensic Genetics & Population Genetics & Bioinformatics in Forensics to submit their work on our website (www.siroad.org). We aim to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Forensic Sciences. It also provides the premier interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of Forensic Sciences.

Awards: A number of best Presentation and Poster awards will be given to recognize excellent contributions, including best Abstracts award, best thematic award, best service award, best reviewer awards, best PhD paper submission award, etc. Some of the original and excellent abstracts will be recommended to extend to full papers and publish on the journal, GigaScience (with impact factor 7.463), under the title as a special issue for forensic genetics & bioinformatics & human population genetics.
Abstracts submission
-Please submit your abstract to srfcforensics@gmail.com no later than August 31, 2016.
-Abstracts need to follow the submission guidelines (see below).
-The best abstracts from the conference will be recommended to extend to full papers and publish on the journal, Giga Science (with impact factor 7.463), under the title as a special issue for forensic genetics & bioinformatics & human population genetics.
Submission Guidelines
Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word and submitted electronically. Use double line spacing and page numbering.
Maximum length of the abstract is 250 words in total. In addition provide three to six keywords:
Purpose (mandatory)
Material and Methods (mandatory)
Results (mandatory)
Conclusions (mandatory)
Discussions (if applicable)
